She came broken, a mere shell or so she thought. I held the mirror and showed her light and she opened her eyes. I whispered, “You are amazing, see inside? Feel your beauty, so unique and powerful?” She opened her mind. I gently touched her skin, and her smile beamed bright, grown from a flicker with love, not for me, but for herself.

The breath of life cycles, in and out, around and around. No apparent beginning or end, yet constant transformation from what was to what will be. Caught in the middle of now, wishing change from the past knowing it can only come in the future as the past disappears like ticks on a watch, frozen in memories of both joy and regret.

Are you beautiful? Beauty is the soul, it is not skin, nor hair, nor features. The kindness of the eyes, the gentleness of touch, the fairness and caring of words and actions tells of one’s beauty. Too soon our skin will be gone and our spirit will be free. Make your spirit shine today, be beautiful. Peace and love FB friends.

May my heart see clearly the beauty of a soul, beyond the shimmering clouds of light and color to know the true splendor of one so remarkable.

The calm is blown away by the furious winds, gnashing and penetrating rain cover and soak as the wailing continues for what seems an eternity. Cathartic bliss returns slowly upon passing of the tempest into the night. Peace and beauty replace pain and the world is right once again.

Pitching and rolling waves pound against the bow, a mere eggshells protection from the wrath of our Mother. Miles and miles of blue ocean undulate ahead, separating me from love and life as the plotted course drifts slowly along the charts. A prayer whispered from my lips is carried upon the wind and spread out across the sea. “Grant safe passage dear Mother, so I may return to those I love. Hold back the wind, push down the seas and prepare the way for me.”

From the tiniest caterpillar to the immense universe; change, evolution and growth are a part of our existence. It cannot be stopped and seldom predicted, but it is assured. Where possible, steer its course to benefit those around you and openly embrace what will come as change lights new paths of discovery.

We each have a bucket and an infinite supply of drops. When we are kind, giving, funny, and make the other person happy we put a drop in their bucket. If we are mean, neglecting, derogatory, spiteful then we pour out their bucket and leave it empty. The drops are love and the bucket is how we feel about the person. You decide if you want to fill someone’s bucket or empty it because when you place a drop in their bucket, one goes in yours too.

Unknown facade of images and words

Painted in memory like the song of birds

Vapors on the wind wisping in my mind

Swirling and churning wasting precious time

Demons get out be gone from me

Peace please come return my sanity

The fragile heart held tightly is crushed by pain and jealousy. Beauty of a special soul shines upon the cold hands clutching and squeezing, trying to control. Tenuous trust granted as a tiny seed and a promise grows slowly in the fragile heart. As it grows, fear goes and love brings light to the soul who gives without boundaries.

Dark spirit comes, invading our soul

Slowly creeping, no longer whole

Aura black, devoid of hope

Questioning lives, trying to cope

Scrubbing and wiping the stain of despair

Wash it away, till nothing is there

Sun slowly rises, for all those to see

Color returns to you and me

Your spirit is beautiful in every way

Shine for the world on this new day

Winds howl through my room as thunderclouds boom

Is it the new season or a change of reason

No way to know fate, but she certainly won’t wait

Nothing is forever and I don’t say never

The tempest blows hard and then it goes

Leaving new, nothing at all, or just one wall

I dreamed the dream of heaven and hell
Wondering how I could ever tell
Where on earth the vision came from
A tired old man beating his drum
Time ticks away, ever faster it goes
Leaving us old and wiser, I suppose
Louder and louder, the beat presses on
And we never realize until it is gone
Health and strength, happiness and love
As fragile and precious as a white turtle dove
Taken from you when you’re least aware
As if someone thought, you wouldn’t care
Cherish the gifts you have everyday
For sadly enough, they’re not here to stay

Enraptured, bliss flows freely into my soul. Tangled and twisted cosmic strings align, illuminating the path ahead. Life is reborn today, brilliant and beautiful in every way. Passions found fill our spirit with joy and love as the promise of what can be overpowers the despair of what was. Let the power of your purpose drive you to be better in every way, fill you with the energy to succeed and enlighten your darkest moods with hope and love.

Our bodies live on this world for a split second, like the drop of dew falling into a pool of rainwater. We ripple the surface, but the wave of our existence passes quickly once we are gone. Yet our spirits, like the drop, remain forever in the energy of the universe. Changing and conforming to cosmic demands, surrounded by our family and friends like the tiny drop in the puddle. Thank you for being in my puddle.
